This post is a little out of sequence because, quite frankly, I forgot to post it up last summer.  Here's my appearance from the June 15th, 2013 Sacramento Rivercats game.

Star Wars:  Where Science Meets Imagination

This was the final leg of the tour!  San Jose Tech Museum, 22 Mar 2014!  The Golden Gate Garrison of the 501st invited the Central California Garrison to troop with them at the museum on it's final weekend.  This was a fun event and allowed my son and I to take a look at the real props and costumes used in the making of all 6 Star Wars films.  

So many pictures, but here's some of the highlights:

This Millennium Falcon was HUGE!  I'm not kidding you!  HUGE!!!!!  I knew it was big from reading the books and looking at photos, but to stand next to it and see it in person...WOW!!  It's 6 FEET in diameter!  Lots of wonderful little details that you'll never see on screen!  Wish I'd had my good camera!  But, these are all iPhone shots.

Ed and I take turns in our Vader Suits so we aren't both exhausted beyond belief at the end of the day.  So glad we could split the day up.  Would have killed either one of us if we had to troop the whole day alone!!!

WIZARD WORLD SACRAMENTO 2014

March 8th & 9th, 2014. Sacramento's first Wizard World, Comic Con! Here's some of the photos from the event.

As I was walking through the Con, a guy walked up to me and asked if I wanted to be on television? I said sure! He shook my hand and said he was the producer of ABC's Dancing with the Stars. He asked if I'd be willing to shoot a promotional spot for the show with Emma Slater, one of the professional dancers on the show. ABSOLUTELY! Haven't seen the spot air yet, but I'm watching for it.

FREE COMIC BOOK DAY 2013

Here's a series of photographs from my latest appearance as Vader with the 501st Central California Garrison at Gamer's Circle Comics in Folsom, CA on May 4th, 2013.

This is a comparison shot of me standing next to Gamer's Circle Comics Shop Owner Andy Wood. Andy stands 6'2". The left portion of the picture is a shot of us from 2009. The right side is a shot of us from 2013. Notice my height gain? That's thanks to the custom boots I had designed with internal lifts and a taller heel.
